As the Hoffman Estates Wolf Pack Squirts enter the mid-season break they find themselves atop their division in the NWHL with a record of 4-2-1. It's truly a team effort all the way for these boys as the Team first mentality rains strong. This was especially evident as they came from behind to win three games and tie one during the first half of the season. The Comeback kids never waiver and always keep their heads high.
The Hoffman Estates Wolf Pack Squirts capped off a hard-fought tournament by going undefeated and winning the Spartan Cup this past weekend in Michigan. Although challenged by playing three travel level teams the young men came together and each contributed with their unique abilities and passion for excellence. The team was led by shut down defense from by Jack Scanlan, Will MacDonald, Justin Weber and James Mcgreal aiding goaltender Eli Brown in stopping over eighty shots while allowing only 13 goals. On offense, the aggressive fore-checking of Liam Sinsabaugh, Kevin Koo, and Grayson Jordan and the finnese of Josh Warren, Vojta Lukas and Nathaniel Choi led the Wolfpack to a tournament-high 24 goals. All players contributed on the offensive side with either a goal or assist. As the players accepted their trophy they circled the ice with "We are the Champions" being sung around the arena. As is custom for the Wolf Pack they ceremoniously thanked their fans as they exited the ice by raising their sticks and saluting the wonderful and supportive parents and siblings. Trophies were won, medals were received, however, most of all lifelong memories were made. Great work Wolf Pack!
